Ms S finds answers and support

Ms S needed emotional support. She had been caring for her husband with Alzheimer’s for eight years with no support. Facing decisions about placing him into a nursing home or another type of institutional setting, she was distraught. Riverstone’s social worker was able to assist her with information and monthly Spanish support groups hosted at the Memory Center. She has been attending regularly and recently participated in our Hudson Rivers sightseeing cruise for family caregivers. She has expressed newfound joy and appreciation for the services provided to her at the Memory Center.
